Our Mission Statement

To promote a work/life balance by socializing, playing games and enjoying hobbies while supporting each other and the community mentally, spiritually, physically and professionally

  United Sports and Social Club, Inc., a 501c(4) Non-profit Corporation,  was founded in 1998.  Envisioned as a "cricket club" by it's founders, the club has grown into a diverse and well rounded cultural group, and has achieved excellence in cultural arenas. Our United members hail from the islands of Jamaica, Grenada, St. Lucia and Guyana.

While we enjoy several activities, a vital part of our organization is making a meaningful contribution to the community.  Our main focus is to make a difference in the lives of others.
We are a membership sports and social club with several committees enabling our members to get involved.  Our Benevolent Committee offers assistance to members and the community. This committee responds to sickness, deaths, charitable events, volunteer opportunities, scholarships and more. The Sports Committee oversees all sporting events and is responsible for helping to form selection committees in each sporting fraternity. Game results are report back to the chairperson.  The Membership Committee tries to increase and retain quality members, offer services that meet their needs, plan social events,  and make recommendations to the Board of Directors.  Public Relations foster an amicable relationship with others and manage the spread of information with the public and other clubs and attend outside events on behalf of the club. Disciplinary takes care of any misconduct or violations of our rules. Finally, our most important by far is our Entertainment Committee who does all the planning and executing of all fundraising events.


Over the years United Sports and Social Club has partnered with The Urban League of Palm Beach County, The United States Marine Corp, The City of West Palm Beach, Martin Luther King Jr. Coordinating Committee, Solid Waste Authority, among others.  Notable charitable events at our club includes: back to school giveaways, toys for tots, picnics for the kids at a local park, scholarships, donate well needed items to Grandmas Place and the Farm Workers Council of America, paint-your-heart-out projects wit the Solid Waste Authority, and more.  We are currently a participating member of the Alliance for Disaster Coalition, which consist of CAFCI, Caribbean Educators, Grace Episcopal Church, Jamaicans of The Palm Beaches and Children of Helen.  Together we organize fundraisers to assist with natural disasters here in the United States and the Caribbean Islands.  For the last 2 hurricanes in 2017, shipments were sent to Dominica and the US Virgin Islands. A shipping container was also sent to the Bahamas in 2019 with Hurricane Supplies.


Our annual presentation of the Jamaica Independence Celebration in August is one achievement we are very proud of each year.  This is an anticipated event every year by our supporters, sponsors and advertisers.  This showcases our Jamaican Culture and our souvenir magazine highlights numerous facts about Jamaica and promote our sponsors and advertisers.

Our annual Christmas Ball in December and our Annual Anniversary Raffle and Dance in May are also two events that are well anticipated each year.  These events helps to finance our charitable activities and help with overhead costs.

  Dominoes and other board games      also play a vital part of our life at our Social    Club.    Members play weekly at our  clubhouse, and often visit other establishments  both locally, nationally and  internationally where we continue to walk away as  champions, taking home the  trophies.

 Other activities include socializing, networking and relaxation.
